Operator-track only.
We hire from delivery, not from decks. If you have done the work — in operations, workforce, or process — this is the door.

How we hire
Our hiring is structured around the operating problems we are asked to solve. We open roles when a current engagement or a clearly visible upcoming engagement needs a specific shape of operator, not on a calendar. That means cycles are uneven. When we do open a role, we describe the work the way it actually runs, not the way the org chart would label it.
What we look for
Operating reps. Evidence that you have carried a real workload through a real organization — not just analyzed one. The map of where you have been is more interesting to us than the line on the resume.
Diagnostic instincts. The capacity to walk into a stalled operation and find the seam where the work is failing — before anyone has labelled the failure.
Calm in friction. Most of our work happens inside organizations under pressure. We hire for the temperament that holds up there.
Open roles
We do not currently have a public open-roles list. When roles open, they are posted here and routed through warm referrals from current engagements. If you want to be considered when something fits, see below.
How to express interest
Send a short note to careers@sustinericonsulting.com. Tell us, in three to five paragraphs: the operating environment where you have done your best work, a specific time you found a failure that nobody else had named, and the kind of work you want to be doing twelve months from now. Skip the cover letter format. Skip the resume bullet voice. Write like you would if you were briefing a colleague who was about to take over your job.
We read everything that arrives. We respond when there is something to say. We do not maintain a passive talent pool that never gets contacted.
